Saw Ninja Assassin today with Matt, Megan, and Emily. It was really good. Some of the characters other than Raizo could have been more developed, but it was still interesting and visually dazzling (yes, that includes Rain's abs, ha ha). I'd see it again if I had money. I'm on high "squee" alert right now.

Continuing my apparent trend of updating on Wednesdays, haha.

Well, I'm back in NF and yeahhhh. I have nothing to do all break but download stuff, watch shit, play Kingdom Hearts, and play The Hobbit.

I'm excited to see people tonight because it's doing something, but.
It's weird without her.
I can tell that this break is going to be weird without her here while I'm home and she's not.

►Les résultats des partiels sont tombés et ce n'est pas fameux: écrit 11 (version 13.25 - thème 8), oral 9, lecture rapide et kanji 8.4. je sais ce que j'aurai à faire quand le JLPT sera passé (avec les trois rapports à rendre u_u).
►D'ailleurs ce dernier arrive bientôt: dimanche en huit. Les révisions intense continue!!!!!
►En espérant d'ailleurs que mon firefox marche ce soir (je suis à la fac, c'est la pause de mon cours d'informatique). J'ai installé un programme pour lire les furiganas sous firefox mais, quand j'ai voulu le redémarrer... rien. Je stresse, surtout qu'on venait de ma filer un lien pour un site web avec des exercices d'annales tout en ligne, ce qui est assez bien pour révisé.
►Et puis j'ai un fanart de Scorpius quelque part, il faut que je pense à le poster (sinon allez voir sur hp_fringeart)
►je retourne à mon cours, j'ai rendu tous les TP à rendre, mon site avance bien, j'espère au moins une note au dessus de la moyenne dans ce cours.

Well, one way to check that could be checking the original work (assuming there is one).

I'm trying to find something nice to readdd.... I really want to read something like Usagi Drop. I'm a sucker for single daddy/something like that raising a kid-genre... well, I've read and reading only three series:

Aishiteruze Baby - ....actually I watched the anime, it wasn't perfect, but it was cute.

Usagi Drop - My favourite. They stopped scanlating it though 8/ From what I know it'll follow the firl to her teenage years, but it didn't go that far before scanlations ceased. I guess I need to buy this one.

My Girl - ...it's cute. It's also quite generic. But this time is the actual father.

....but, but. I would also like to read something weirder, but interesting and somewhat easy to understand. Or just plain original stuff. And that goes straight into business, but has mysterious atmosphere - that kind of stuff works with me too well. And stuff like Momotama: strong characters, well-working humor plus random surprises <3 But no matter what it's still strange that the same author made Peacemaker Kurogane - the series are completely different from each other - as is Vassalord... [cherryyyy<3 :'D])
I really need to re-read Momotama though, I'm forgetting lots of important stuff.

Also watching some series:
Sumomo Momomo it's not exactly bad, but....dead-pan boring, generic and so on. Blah. Tried Nagasarete Airantou immediately regretting that.
....so I'm trying to desperately think what to watch...
(well, I didn't finish Haruhichan for some reason. That's in the plan next.)
Why is it that most of the anime on my watchlist is scifi.... I would like to watch something else for change. Really. (Though I certainly don't regret watching Seikai's <3)

And Ikimono-Gakari's Nakumonka was a great letdown 8/ Grr.

I want to watch The Cook, the Thief, His Wife & Her Lover again. An excellent movie. And I generally hate watching movies because I don't have the attention span for it. But this is a fantastic movie. I know before I swore never to watch it again, I want to. But not by myself. Peter Greenaway FTW! XD

Oh, and my latest guilty pleasure. Don't click if you're (a)Muslim and (b)easily offended. I love this cartoon strip -- I've read every single one! I'd love Vol 4 book for Xmas.... XD . And I love this website too~ XD

I have so much chocolate, it's ridiculous! And I'll be spending Xmas here in Perth. I'm not going home! Yay. Mum's a bit upset, but it can't be helped. To be honest, I really don't want to go back to that boring shithole just yet ^^ The only thing that I have there are my parents and brothers but aside from that, I really don't have anything worth jack. :p The only friend I actually really cared about over there was mypaperplane and even she's in the UK right now.

Another person I knew from high school (I went to a small high school, so I knew all 200-ish students, ha ha) is dead. Just found out via Facebook. =/ R.I.P., Josh.

Not to mention that I had a friend from middle school die in a car accident several years ago. He was one of the few people who was genuinely nice to me. He never treated me like I was a freak.

... John Milton from the dead and ask him if he knew how hopelessly confused readers of Paradise Lost in the year 2009 would be. I'm kind of starting to like Satan out of sheer defiance to Milton. Actually, Satan is probably the most well-written character with Eve in a close second. Deconstructing the text is killing my brain. 10-15 pages of this... Can I do it? I must persist. I must persist. It's not like I hate Paradise Lost. Far from it. I'm not Christian, and I think it is an excellent work. It's just so packed with convoluted language, contradictory terms, binary opposition like you've never seen. It's crazy. If anyone can do a Deconstructive analysis, though, it should be me. *huff, huff* My 12-page paper on the Beck Depression Inventory-II and Beck Hopelessness Scale was easier than this! Empirical data, I love you.
